The Wisconsin Biathlon Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating, promoting, and expanding the participation in biathlon, the Winter Olympic sport combining cross-country skiing and rifle marksmanship. Individuals of all ages and abilities are invited to participate become involved in this fun and challenging sport.
The Wisconsin Biathlon Association is a member organization of the United States Biathlon Association (USBA), the national governing body of the sport in the US. We also follow the established rules and guidelines set forth by the International Biathlon Union (IBU).
Currently the only 50 meter regulation biathlon venue is the McMiller Park Sports Center in Eagle, WI. There is also an air rifle biathlon program at the Blackhawk Ski Club in Middleton, WI. In the future, the Wisconsin Biathlon Association looks forward to expanding and establishing multiple biathlon venues throughout the state.
